MBT will not hold your district accountable to an SMAA contract that is not relevant to the new SMAA scope of services or regulations. We will proactively revise our service agreement and pricing to reflect the new scope of services and support once regulations have been approved by CMS. Although RMTS will be less time-consuming to the participants, there is still much work to be done behind the scenes – Medi-Cal tape match, uploading calendars and preparation of quarterly invoices. MBT has many years of experience handling these services, and will continue to support your district in the coming year. No action is required by our partners at this point.

If you have any questions regarding the proposed regulations, you can contact DHCS here.

MBT is here to support our school partners – our goal is to do what is right for the students and staff and continue to support the important work you do.
